Our client, a logistics company, is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Officer to join their exceptional team.

Uganda is Hiring an HR Officer Key Deliverables
- Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations.
- Identify training and development opportunities and Organize training sessions, workshops, and activities.
- Provide basic counseling to staff who have performance-related obstacles
- Collect data on leave records, sick leave, training, and bonuses to prepare HR monthly reports.
- Input sick off and leave records into the Aruti HR & Payroll system.
- Monthly preparation of leave balances and circulation to HODs.
- Ensure good Industrial Relations by liaising closely with all employees.
- Prepare and execute induction programs for all staff.
- Ensure QMS and EOSH procedures are adhered to within the department by carrying out internal audits and raising non-conformities where applicable.
- Perform any other responsibilities as directed by the Management.
- Monitor staff performance and attendance activities
- Monitor daily attendance
- Investigate and understand causes for staff absences
- Recommend solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties.
- Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
- Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions
- Facilitate the recruitment and selection processes.
- Produce and deliver offer letters to candidates as directed by HODs, in alignment with Company Policy and Procedures.
- Provide information and assistance to staff and supervisors on human resource and work-related issues.
- Handle complaints, conflicts/grievances, and disputes with the help of the HOD.
- Organize the transitional provisions of employee compensation, pay, and benefits when positions are transferred.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
