JD Specialized Recruitment is currently partnering with a prominent resort in Drakensberg to recruit a dynamic and highly organized ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER to join their team.

Rooms Division Manager Hiring Required Skills Below

1.  A diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management from a reputable Hotel School would be highly preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a full-service hotel in a remote location, either as a Rooms Division Manager or Front Office Manager.
3. In-depth understanding of Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping & Banqueting policies & procedures.
4. Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and reach targets
5. Highly knowledgeable in Property Management Systems, including Opera and Micros, and possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office Package.
6. Fully conversant in managing Online Travel Agency (OTA) information, rates, and charges (Booking.com, Lekker Slaap, etc.)
7. Experienced in the preparation of occupancy and forecast reports, analyzing trends, and contributing to marketing strategy.
8. Excellent communication skills both written & spoken in English, Afrikaans & Zulu.
9. A Valid Driver’s license is essential.
10. Sound employment history with contactable references.
