Position Summary
Responsible for Controlling over overhead expenses (MOGE & GLOBE) across Countries, Categories and Functions for MENA market, from primary cost to P&L allocations by Category.
A day in the life of…
Annual budget: Steward of annual planning and budgeting process across MENA: organizational review (Operation People Plan), allocation drivers, NIM stakeholders alignment, coordination with HR Business partners and Co-Pilots.
Drive Savings initiatives: Work closely with HR team (HRBPs & Total Rewards) to drive employee related savings initiatives, and with Procurement, Workplace Solutions and IS/IT to drive non-HR savings initiatives. Monthly review with Country Controllers to review MOGE and Globe costs Actuals vs. Budget.
DF: Review MOGE & ISIT DF (Detailed quarterly DF, risks & opps on a monthly basis) and ensure actions are taken to meet MOGE Market target at constant exchange rate
Actuals: Drive improvement of quality of inputs (cost center cleaning, GL accounting, data cleansing, accuracy of accruals in countries and Head Office,…), monthly pre-PEC health check with Country Controllers and annual review of actuarial reports (from assumptions to booking) to ensure MOGE Actuals are accurate
Visibility: Prepare regular MOGE reports and analysis, along with recommendations to support NiM decision making. Ensure quality business and financial information is used by NiM for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood.
HR, Legal, & Corporate Affairs Co-Pilot: Supporting and facilitating ad-hoc requests across all teams in the HR & Legal functions (HRBPs, HRS, Talent, Training, Total Rewards, General Counsel, Head of Corporate Affairs).
Market MOGE Target Management: Own market MOGE targets and support Head of geographies, businesses, and functions to achieve their respective MOGE target by driving visibility, raising risks, and proposing opportunities.
Allocations: Ensure correct allocation of MOGE & ISIT costs to Categories, in compliance with NAS and Costing Standard White Collar. Drive improvements on the allocation process with Countries and Categories and Costing CoC to ensure a fair, accurate and smooth allocation process.
Projects: Drive and/or lead market organizational projects (e.g. OTW, Project Relocate), highlight gaps vs. business plan and timeline, and take actions to ensure commitments are delivered as planned.
Zone Reporting: Prepare Headcounts and personnel cost reports e.g. Actuals Magnitude reporting (SSMT headcounts, E2E), and reply to Zone requests
Business & System Integrations: Integration of businesses (e.g. Nestle Waters, VMHS) into current systems. Propose and lead Group/Zone solutions within the Market (e.g. Cost & People Forecasting, PCM); ensuring smooth transition and no impact on business continuity.
Digitalization & Automation: Develop automated dashboards and reports to enhance Cluster, Country, and Division support to take timely actions on deviations versus forecast/plans. Prepare ad-hoc analysis and simulations to support queries across the organization.
Compliance: Be the expert and SPOC for Costing White Collar standards coordinating with Costing CoC and countries, ensuring costing standards are applied, or derogations formalized and approved.
What Will Make You Successful
University Degree in Business/Finance
Prior experience in Finance function (e.g.: Costing, Factory controlling, Decision support)
Experience in a network organization with cross-functional stakeholders
Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)

A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Overall Responsibility:
To achieve sales by category by maximizing short and long term growth opportunities and build long term relationship with the customers.
Other responsibilities include:
Accountable for the achievement of his/her territory sales volumes by category.
Achieve the core distribution (listing of new Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)), picture of success targets and the agreed visibility and other elements in the Business Development Agreement (BDA).
Develop a strong relationship with the customer and initiate negotiation of the contract (visibility, shelve space, promotions and implementations).
Organize field visits on a daily basis and follow up with stores in the assigned area to ensure availability of products.
Develop and manage long-term effective business relationship with customers.
Report market intelligence (sales analysis, monthly initiative implementations, competitor activities, launches, customer plans, shopper profiles) to sales management.
Ensure that the promotional plan is implemented effectively and efficiently in store in the assigned area(s).
Ensure on shelf availability of all products based on core distribution by communicating with the merchandiser and following up with store visits.
Ensure correct product handling and condition on shelf as per company policy.
Ensure shelf and warehouse stocks are correctly audited, rotated, and the short expiry issues are properly handled in line with company policy.
Ensure collection and financial reconciliation is made in line with Nestlé set payment terms.
Submit and maintain proper customer records, sales activities and other required reports and forms.
Follow up with merchandisers on their daily journey plan and resolve any issues that may arise. Provide constructive feedback on stock handling and implementation of the products on the shelves, check outs, secondary placements, and gondolas.
Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestlé Instructions and local country codes. Comply with Nestlé’s strictest requirements that Nestlé marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.
What Will Make You Successful…
University Degree (Preferably BBA).
