1- Logistics Analyst – Kuwait

Serco provides logistics sustainment and contingency support to IFRCO both OCONUS (Kuwait) and CONUS (Redstone Arsenal, Yuma Proving Ground, and Fort Sill, OK) by conducting logistics database administration and lifecycle management of supplies.
You will become part of our Iraq-based logistics team supporting multiple government customers in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, property accountability, and equipment disposition.
The Logistics Analyst will be part of a diverse team of highly talented personnel who work closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality logistics support to IFRCO OCONUS (Kuwait).
In this role, you will:
Provide logistician experience to:
Manage supplies and conduct warehousing functions to support government and military operations in an austere environment
Inventory, package, ship, retrograde, transport, and maintain accountability of government property to support military operations
Document the inventory, receipt, and shipment of equipment and systems
Provide expertise in:
Preparing assets for DLA-DA (DRMO) and turn-in to support phasing out unneeded equipment
Utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or government logistics databases to move systems and equipment within the Iraq theater
The use of computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) to communicate logistical transactions to contractor and government leadership
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Supply and Warehouse management within Government or Military operations, or High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with retrograde, transportation, property accountability, and environmental stewardship
Experience in preparing assets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
Experience utilizing Commercial Off Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases.
Knowledge of various logistics forms (DD or DA) and their functions
Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 75+% OCONUS
Ability to lift 35lbs unassisted
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Forklift Experience, commercial or military
  • Experience supporting Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) products and systems or Integrated Fires / Rapid Capabilities Office (IFRCO) products and systems
  • Experience using Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) is HIGHLY desirable!
  • Experience with IUID and/or RFID systems is also highly desirable.
  • Experience in preparing assets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
  • Knowledge of COSIS and documentation of actions.
  • Familiarity with preparing large pallets/crates for shipment in both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT functions and requirements helpful

Serco has a great opportunity for you to take a Logistics Management Specialist role as part of the Global Logistics Augmentation and Staff Support (GLASS) team in supporting the Army Sustainment Command in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Join an integrated government-industry team in support of multiple program functions. Specific tasks include the following: Operations and Plans, Desk Officer, ORSA, Training and Exercise, Automation/Database Management, and Cost Management Support Services. You will provide a wide range of customer requirements in the Army supply systems and operations.
Use your expertise and collaborative skills to positively impact our national defense and make a difference in the world’s greatest Army.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a Secret clearance.
This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.
In this role, you will:
Assist with the requirements of development and refinement, technical reviews of requirements packets, and preparation of technical support for negotiation documents.
Monitor and trace ongoing, new, and changing requirements, project schedules, and performance metrics.
Prepare briefings, and information papers, and attend meetings.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
US Citizenship
An active DoD Secret clearance.
High School Diploma
6 years of directly related logistics experience.
An active Kuwait VISA. (VISA 14/18).
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability to perform in-depth research of emerging policy, regulation, directives, and industrial issues, and monitor ongoing, new, and changing requirements.
Ability to monitor project schedules and performance metrics; prepare briefings and information papers; and attend meetings and teleconferences.
Experience with requirements generation analysis of services.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Additional desired experience and skills:
A Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of directly related experience.
