1- Backend Developer

YOUR FIELD OF ACTIVITY
Working in an agile cross-functional team you will develop the existing backend application, improve modularity and performance
You will work closely with the Product Team and fellow developers to solve problems in Ruby and SQL
You use Open Source Software and community engagement to solve day-to-day challenges
You extract and create modules for existing Ruby on Rails backend software
You meet up with your fellow developers to deep-dive and present new technologies, discoveries, and quick hacks
You continuously improve and regularly challenge the team’s status quo to embrace new ideas and openly engage in discussions
You practice test-driven development and ensure that the code is of high quality when it passes through the CI/CD pipeline.
ABOUT YOU
You have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a backend or full-stack position
You are familiar with various templating systems
You have an understanding of how to write readable code that is self-explanatory
Ruby on Rails experience, eRuby, and HAML is highly desirable
You have an excellent level of English and good communication skills
You have high motivation and passion to develop with attention to detail and perseverance
Nice to have: Exposure to cloud environments, e.g. Google Cloud

YOUR FIELD OF ACTIVITY.
Design, build and maintain ELT data pipelines from multiple data sources including APIs and databases.
Develop creative solutions for various data challenges facing our fast-growing data and business requirements.
Establish processes and standards that ensure data accuracy and provide consistent metrics across the organization.
Participate in decision-making meetings and project brainstorming with management.
YOUR MINDSET & EXPERIENCE.
You are a real team player that possesses an open-minded, hands-on, and proactive attitude that is positive, enthusiastic, and empathetic.
You know how to work in an agile way and you have strong problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated to keep up with the latest data engineering trends and tools.
Experience in building and delivering data systems in cloud platforms such as GCP.
Knowledge of data modeling and experience with tools such as DBT and/or Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
Familiar with cloud data warehouse design, architecture, and operations such as BigQuery.
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and delivering data engineering projects.
Experience with Python, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Server Management Studio.
Familiar with REST and SOAP API.
It will be great if you will have as well:
Experience with DataOps, CI/CD, and orchestration for data-related projects.
Knowledge of the e-commerce/couponing business model.
Familiarity with prediction models and forecasts for marketing data.
Knowledge of marketing tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdWords, and SEMrush.
