About the job:
This is a great opportunity for an ARABIC speaker (preferred) to join a medium-sized engineering company in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Reporting to the MD.
Salary: AED 40-50k plus schooling allowance + family benefits + annual bonus
Responsibilities:
· Bring the outsourced legal function in-house – setting everything up from scratch
· Provide legal support and advice to the Company as part of the Executive Management team on relevant legal issues
· Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities in each of the countries
· Calculate and handle risks in business processes and decision making
· Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust
· Negotiate and draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements, etc.
· Handle litigation as and when required
· Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the company
· Fulfill the role of Group Company Secretary, advising the Shareholders
Requirements:
· Fully qualified lawyer with min 5 years Post Qual experience, 2 years of which must be in the UAE
· Happy to be ‘hands-on’ – there will be nobody else in the legal team to rely on
· Preference will be given to Arabic speakers
· Experience in the Energy or engineering industries would be an advantage

Respiratory Therapist Manager

Our client, a prominent and world-renowned specialty hospital, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking to employ a Respiratory Therapist Manager to join their growing team.

As a respiratory therapy manager, you supervise respiratory therapy technicians and personnel, oversee department operations, approve and direct budgets, hire and manage employees, and fill in for respiratory therapy technicians as necessary.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Supervise and support the Respiratory Therapists in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate the equipment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising the team, by making sure that there is enough Respiratory Therapist assigned in the hospital to cover the patient. Creating a schedule or Rota with proper staff distribution per shift.
Responsible for interviewing and selecting new staff for the department.
Providing a supporting document to the insurance.
Providing a monthly ventilator audit, to improve documentation and make sure that the staff is documenting properly.
Can perform as a Respiratory Therapist in clinical settings in the absence of the staff, or as a help in emergency cases. Initial assessment, mechanical ventilators, therapeutic oxygen administration apparatus, tracheoscopy assist, bedside spirometry, airway clearance, emergency care, intubation assist, performing arterial blood gas, tracheostomy change, and monitoring the patient.
Train and certify the clinical staff on different departmental competencies.
Making sure that all the RT have done the departmental competencies and up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and PALS, to provide better service. For the Chest physiotherapist, departmental competencies and up-to-date BLS only.
Making sure that all services and procedures are following the created policies and procedures.
Work as part of a team of physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to manage patient care.
Responsible for IDT meetings and family meetings to discuss the expectation of the family or plans for the patient’s therapy.
Responsible for responding to any complaints or concerns from other healthcare professionals and from patients or relatives.
Responsible for reporting directly to the CMO.

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and families in providing therapy and exchanging patient progress/condition information and to assign duties and orient/train subordinate professional, technical, and support personnel.
Analytical ability is necessary for determining priorities, providing input regarding the development of departmental policies, procedures, and budgets, evaluating new supplies and developing new programs, and recommending changes.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when administering treatments, observing patients, and maintaining records.
Computer proficiency is required. Microsoft office applications are preferred with the ability to learn new software.
Maintain variable work schedule depending on hospital/program needs to provide patient care (evening, holidays, weekend, and travel)
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Knows the task and department-related hazards, associated risks, and existing controls.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
