The following positions Architecture Draftsman Receptionist

Architecture Draftsman Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed architectural drawings and shop drawings from 3D models using AutoCAD.

• Create detailed drawings of materials such as wood, steel, and marble.

• Collaborate with the design team to develop design concepts and solutions.

• Produce detailed technical drawings for construction and installation.

• Ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

• Work effectively and efficiently to execute details in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• An associate’s degree in Architecture or related field.

• 4-10 years of experience in architectural drafting.

• Expertise in AutoCAD.

• Ability to create detailed drawings of materials such as wood, steel, and marble.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines.

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

2. Technical Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and construction standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in the drawings. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional and feasible drawings.
3. Detailing and Documentation: Create detailed drawings that encompass floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Pay meticulous attention to dimensions, scale, materials, and finishes, ensuring that drawings are clear, precise, and easily understandable by all stakeholders.
4. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless coordination and integration of design elements. Communicate effectively to clarify design intent, address potential issues, and incorporate feedback into the drawings.
5. Revise and Modify: Review and update architectural drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Incorporate design changes, client preferences, and engineering requirements into the drawings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
6. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of drawings. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the drawings, seeking input from relevant stakeholders as needed.
7. Project Support: Assist architects and project teams in various aspects of the design process, including conducting research, preparing presentation materials, and providing technical support. Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality design documentation.

Requirements:BOLD

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction practices.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
