The Roles: Senior Accountant and Assistant Accountant

As a Senior Accountant and an Assistant Accountant at our company, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. Your expertise, dedication, and attention to detail will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization, playing a crucial role in our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Senior Accountant:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial activities, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, providing valuable insights and variance analysis to the management team.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits, ensuring smooth and successful audit procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Assistant Accountant:

• Support in various financial tasks, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements, handle petty cash, and assist with data entry in accounting systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial processes.
• Contribute to the month-end closing process and assist with financial analysis as needed.

Requirements: 

• Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. For Assistant Accountant, a relevant diploma or degree is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as a showcasing expertise in financial management and reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
