1. FINISHING AREA ASSISTANT

The Warehouse Department at Kuwait Steel is seeking a Finishing Area Assistant to comply with the Operation Manuals of all Finishing End Area equipment and sub-units (CB Rakes, Roller Tables, Cold Shears, Transferring and Collection Devices, Counting Bed table, Bundling and Weighing Units, etc.) to ensure productive, efficient and safe operation. The Finishing Area Assistant will ensure compliance with documented ISO-9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System requirements.

This includes focusing on Monitoring all sections of the Finishing End Area to prevent stoppages cause by undershooting and overshoot of bars, bar spreading, bent bars, bar misalignment, bar overlaps, bar stuck, short bars, and bar looping. The Finishing Area Assistant will Perform in-process testing and inspection of rebar based on documented procedures. Obtains rebar samples for QA mechanical testing. In addition, Ensures the consistent availability and supply of gas cutting materials and spare gas cylinders at all designated locations within the Finishing End area.

2. Additive Feeding Operator

The Warehouse Department at Kuwait Steel is seeking an Additive Feeding Operator to Initialing developing the improvement projects in the melt shop additives area for material handling, material staking, and material preservation. Initiating/performing trials for new methods or new materials.

The Additive Feeding Operator will ensure compliance with ISO-9001 and 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements by reading the department’s procedures and documents. This includes focusing on material feeding activities of EAF, LF, day bins, and conveyor belts to optimize productivity and eliminate risk or accidents.

The Additive Feeding Operator will coordinate and focus on all additive activities to avoid material shortages optimize feeding & storage activity and eliminate the risk of accidents. In addition, He shall take a major role in newly developed activities and non-routine activities to give training/guidelines for his crew.
