SINGAPORE — One person was killed and several injured when a Singapore Airlines plane encountered “severe turbulence” en route from London to Singapore, the company said Tuesday evening local time.
The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300ER, was diverted to Bangkok after the incident. It was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members.
