Tom Cruise just sparked excitement regarding his upcoming plans in the filming industry.
According to PEOPLE magazine, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, the 61-year-old was spotted filming scenes for the next Mission: Impossible movie.
Cruise could be seen in the British capital outside of an invented Tube station called “Trafalgar Square.”
Cruise shut down the real Trafalgar Square for the shoot as he was seen coming in and out of the London Underground station while surrounded by crowds of extras.
Additionally, Cruise could be seen in even happier spirits as he took out the time in between takes to chat with the members of the crew, off camera.
Previously, the Top Gun star has also been seen filming some more thrilling scenes for the action movie in London, last month.
According to Deadline, the upcoming, eighth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise is set for a May 23, 2025. Its release was delayed by a year due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, which ended in November 2023.
Tom Cruise would be returning to the franchise as the protagonist, Ethan Hunt, along with the franchise’s longtime collaborative partner, Christopher McQuarrie.
