The Global Biosimilar Marketing and Omnichannel Lead will report to the Global Product Strategy and Marketing Lead and will be responsible for driving the successful marketing and omnichannel strategy and tactics of Biocon’s biosimilar portfolio globally
This person will be expected to work very closely with the New Launch and Launched Product leads to support the design and implementation of the product strategies with marketing and omnichannel deliverables tailored to product life cycle and region needs. They will also be expected to support other business-level initiatives and services
that span the biosimilars businesses eg, leading key product launch marketing, supporting existing launched brands, business branding, and campaign initiatives, Global coordination/alignment on Market Research, Global coordination/ alignment of our international congress/program, omnichannel marketing strategy and execution and assist build a center of excellence including process development and drive utilization.
Lead the development and execution of synchronized marketing and omnichannel strategy, tactics, and campaigns in line with the product strategy that drives the growth objectives of the Global businesses, key product(s), and portfolios
To communicate clearly the above to Snr Leadership, regional and country colleagues, with a goal, of “Create centrally and adapt locally” ensuring alignment with the Brand messaging. To Partner with affiliates to drive consistency of customer engagement strategies and initiatives.
Generate competitive intelligence, and market/customer insights that provide development and commercial guidance in support of strategic marketing plan development for all biosimilars
Position Biocon biosimilars portfolio as leaders in their respective areas of the marketplace.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the key NA, EU, and EM organization working teams (ie Business leaders, regional and local marketing/brand teams, portfolio and BD, field and regional sales, etc)
Design and conduct initiatives, including but not limited to key marketing deliverables such as detail aids, leave pieces, payer information, market research and advisory panels, segmentation, targeting, launch planning, key customer relationships, and advocacy development. Deliver a strong customer experience leveraging digital tools and content to drive a positive experience for each of Biocon’s customers and patients.
Develop & deploy digital capabilities including social media, and define multiple factors in customer segmentation/personas that will increase the number of opt-ins and limit opt-outs for each of the customer segments.
Oversee Congress Selection, strategy, and tactical delivery in close collaboration and consultation with regional and country colleagues
Have responsibility for agency management, patient and caregiver materials development and implementation, campaign development, and alignment with market access and medical affairs.
Analyze and present competitor strategies, trends, and market activity.
Manage promotional budget and spending.
to lead a team of Omnichannel managers that creates team harmonization on goals and delivery of corporate objective
Perform other duties as assigned.
This colleague is expected to play an instrumental role in developing and determining global marketing and omnichannel objectives of the business and ensuring business growth through their successful implementation.
Life science degree, Master’s degree/MBA
Strong evidence of marketing and digital experience in the pharmaceutical sector
10+ years of progressive industry/relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing
Prior experience with biologics preferred; Experience with biosimilars (launch or defense strategy) a plus
Affiliate-level marketing experience required
A clear understanding of the various market access and payer environments
Experience working in international environments and influencing global teams
