We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses in various scientific and medical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and experiments as directed by the supervisor or senior lab staff
- Prepare samples, specimens, and reagents for testing and analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Collect, record, and analyze data, and prepare reports on findings
- Collaborate with other lab personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and reorder when necessary
- Keep accurate records of all tests, experiments, and procedures performed
- Stay updated with new laboratory techniques, technologies, and advancements in the field
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, medical technology) is preferred
- Proven experience as a Lab Technician or in a similar role is desirable
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety measures
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
