About This Process Engineer Job in Dubai
This Process Engineer Job in Dubai focuses on sewage water treatment systems, including process design, simulation, and optimization. You will be responsible for developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site inspections, and client consultations
- Review tender documents and prepare RFIs and technical clarifications
- Develop and maintain PFDs and P&IDs with accurate mass and energy balances
- Design treatment processes including primary, secondary, and tertiary stages
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO, ASME, AWWA, and local UAE authorities
- Evaluate vendor proposals and technical specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
- Participate in HAZID and HAZOP safety reviews
Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in wastewater treatment projects
- Expertise in biological treatment technologies (ASP, MBBR, MBR)
- Experience with process simulation tools like GPS-X or BioWin
- Strong knowledge of process design documentation and calculations
- Experience with hydraulic grade line (HGL) design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools
- Strong communication, reporting, and project coordination skills
