Pharma Life is hiring,
Pharma Life is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying variances, trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial information, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary information and support to auditors.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
