Job Description:
Al-Bayan Bilingual School in Hawally, Kuwait, is seeking an experienced and dedicated High School Math Teacher for the academic year 2025-2026. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum aligned with the Common Core standards.
• Teach Algebra I and Algebra II to students in grades 9 and 10.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
• Incorporate technology into lesson plans to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
• Maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment through effective behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in mathematics education.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Mathematics or a related field.
• Certified to teach high school math at the required grade level.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching Algebra I and II to grades 9/10.
• Familiarity with the Common Core curriculum.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience integrating technology into the classroom as an instructional tool.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Prior experience in an international or bilingual school setting is preferred.
