Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School Science Teacher to engage students in scientific discovery. This role is ideal for educators who love hands-on experiments, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary teaching.

The ideal candidate will create a stimulating learning environment, encouraging students to explore, question, and apply scientific concepts to real-world situations.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Implementation

• Teach science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science) following the DBS curriculum.
• Develop interactive, hands-on lessons that encourage scientific inquiry and problem-solving.
• Integrate modern teaching tools and technology to enhance student engagement.
• Promote STEM learning through experiments, demonstrations, and project-based learning.

Student Assessment & Development

• Assess student progress through tests, projects, and active class participation.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and report progress to parents.

Classroom Management & School Involvement

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and engagement.
• Participate in curriculum development, school committees, and extracurricular activities.
• Organize and supervise science fairs, competitions, and field trips to enhance student learning.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with colleagues and school leadership to develop interdisciplinary teaching strategies.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Stay updated with advancements in science education and integrate best practices into teaching.

• Subject Mastery: Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science.
• Innovative Teaching: Ability to make science engaging using experiments, technology, and real-world applications.
