Job Description: Chargehand/Junior Foreman – SFD

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in construction site activities and managing teams efficiently. The Chargehand/Junior Foreman will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing specific tasks, ensuring timely completion, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining quality throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Shuttering Work:
- Supervise the preparation, assembly, and dismantling of shuttering molds.
- Ensure precision and alignment of structures for concrete pouring.
- Steel Work:
- Oversee the cutting, bending, and fixing of reinforcement steel bars.
- Monitor compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Block Work:
- Manage masonry tasks, ensuring blocks are placed and aligned accurately.
- Ensure durability and strength in construction.
- Plaster Work:
- Supervise plastering works to provide a smooth and high-quality finish.
- Inspect surfaces for cracks or defects and ensure proper preparation.
- Scaffolding:
- Oversee the erection, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Concrete Work:
- Manage the mixing, pouring, and curing of concrete.
- Ensure quality and durability in all concrete-related tasks.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction projects, especially in similar roles.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Excellent team management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work long hours on construction sites under varying weather conditions.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
