Key Responsibilities
For HSE Managers:
- Oversee and manage all HSE activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to HSE teams to achieve organizational safety goals.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, reporting on findings to senior management.
- Ensure incident investigations are conducted effectively and corrective actions are implemented.
For HSE Engineers:
- Conduct site inspections to monitor safety performance and identify hazards.
- Develop technical safety measures and engineering controls to mitigate risks.
- Prepare reports, safety plans, and compliance documentation as required.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE protocols into project execution.
For HSE Officers:
- Implement and monitor safety measures across construction sites.
- Provide daily and weekly safety briefings to workers.
- Assist in accident investigations and prepare incident reports.
- Maintain records of safety equipment and certifications.
For HSE Assistants:
- Support HSE teams in document management and compliance tracking.
- Assist with training sessions and toolbox talks for workers.
- Maintain records of safety inspections and assist in preparing reports.
- Ensure safety signage and PPE compliance on-site.
Qualifications and Requirements
Common to All Roles:
- A relevant degree or diploma in Health, Safety, or Environmental Management.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are mandatory.
- Proven experience in the construction or contracting sector in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:
- HSE Managers: Minimum 7+ years of experience.
- HSE Engineers: Minimum 5+ years of experience.
- HSE Officers: Minimum 3+ years of experience.
- HSE Assistants: Minimum 1+ years of experience.
