Kuwait Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Kuwait, is urgently hiring a Diabetes Podiatrist to join its esteemed medical team. This is a golden opportunity for experienced podiatrists specializing in diabetic foot ulcer management, foot screening, and off-loading techniques to work in a state-of-the-art medical facility.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diabetic foot complications, ensuring optimal foot health for patients with diabetes. Key Responsibilities

✔ Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle conditions related to diabetes
✔ Provide specialized care for diabetic foot ulcers, infections, and deformities
✔ Perform diabetic foot screenings to detect early signs of neuropathy and vascular issues
✔ Educate patients on foot care, wound management, and off-loading techniques
✔ Work closely with endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
✔ Prescribe and implement appropriate orthotic devices, wound dressings, and off-loading techniques
✔ Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary
✔ Ensure preventative care and treatment plans to reduce the risk of amputations
✔ Maintain up-to-date patient records and document treatment plans

Job Requirements

🔹 Education: Degree in Podiatry from a recognized institution
🔹 Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience post-podiatry degree
🔹 Specialization: Proven expertise in diabetic foot ulcer management, wound care, foot screening, and off-loading
🔹 Licensing: Must have a valid Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) License (or eligibility to obtain one)
🔹 Location: Hiring from inside Kuwait only 🇰🇼
🔹 Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of diabetic foot complications and treatments
• Ability to perform comprehensive foot assessments
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong documentation and medical record-keeping skills
