About Dar Al Shifa Hospital
In 1963, Dar Al Shifa Hospital (DASH) was established as the first private hospital in the State of Kuwait. Originally, it was a maternity hospital located in Sharq, Kuwait City. Since that time, the hospital became a leading healthcare organization in the region.

  • Receives commercial area products from different suppliers and ensures the received items match the delivery note by item type, quantity and price.
  • Manages the shelving & displaying of received items properly and refills the missing items.

  • Prevent the spread of infection at home, in the client’s room.
  • Teach and aware family members on all safety measures to be taken for the new born or the elderly patient.

  • Inform the supervisors and families in case of any changes or deterioration in the client’s condition.
  • Bath the client (new born, bed ridden, ambulatory patient)

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:
  • The MRP controller reports directly to the Material Management Manager/Supervisor, and has a support responsibility to all functional departments and personnel.
  • Responsible to coordinate the procurement cycle of specific products or services. .
  • Responsible to assist the Material Management Manager/Purchase supervisor to deal with the Companies and suppliers to conduct negotiations and make a cost comparison between them.
  • Responsible for expediting the purchase request and orders, and supervising receiving and dispersal of all items.
  • Procure products/materials, equipment and services in a timely manner.

  • Distributes medication to all clinical areas as per the workflow assigned in the outpatient medication.
  • Answers calls coming for the unit during busy times and ensure transfer of right information for pharmacists. Messengers are not allowed to provide any information when they receive calls.
  • Delivers and receives medications from main pharmacy store and outpatient pharmacy.
  • Responsible for expiry date checks as assigned by pharmacist on duty for all items that they receive and arrange.
  • Responsible for unit organization and cleanliness and overlooks housekeepers when cleaning shelves in the inpatient medication management unit.
