Project Engineer
Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities
Coordination: The jobholder shall ensure efficient work coordination with Oil & Gas, Water Stream Sales, Customers and Principals for all queries/bids, tenders’ documentation to ensure prompt responses to Customers. Obtaining timely pricing information from Principals during bidding and any technical documentation requirements for preparing submittals to client. Ensure all Vendor Pre-qualifications and Re-qualifications are UpToDate.
Tendering Support: Job Holder to organize Customer submissiontals for various projects, technical tenders, reviewing the ITPs and obtaining approvals. Job Holder to understand pricing requirements for preparation of costing sheet to ensure all costs are included in the bid.
Planning & delivery: Ensure effective co-ordination with the relevant Sales Team thereby resulting in job completion within the stipulated time frame meeting the deadlines.
Banking Documentation: Accurately prepare applications to the Bank for bid bonds and performance bonds, related to closed bidding tenders and certain project contracts.
Reporting: Co-ordinate with Sales Team and ensure that Monthly Reports are made available for discussions during Sales Meetings as well as for submittal to Ensure accurate/efficient reporting of projects which are under bidding, awarded or being executed.
Teamwork: Candidate to work closely in co-ordination with relevant Sales Team to offer back-office support, being able to work within deadlines as the work demands.
