As an IELTS Trainee, you will be part of our dynamic team dedicated to helping individuals enhance their English language proficiency, specifically in preparation for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). IELTS is a globally recognized assessment designed to measure a person’s English language skills for academic and professional purposes.
Job Description
A reputed educational institution in Abbasiya requires qualified full-time/part-time trainers for IELTS.
Responsibilities:
- Attend comprehensive training sessions to develop a deep understanding of the IELTS exam format, scoring criteria, and effective test-taking strategies.
- Assist in organizing and conducting IELTS preparation classes, workshops, and mock tests.
- Provide personalized guidance to students, understanding their individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Review and assess practice tests and assignments, offering constructive feedback to help students progress.
- Stay updated on changes in the IELTS exam pattern, content, and assessment criteria to ensure accurate guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine IELTS curriculum materials, including study guides, practice tests, and instructional resources.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- Communicate effectively with students, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing encouragement throughout their preparation journey.
- Track and analyze student progress, identifying trends and areas where additional support may be needed.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and other relevant data.
Qualifications:
- A strong command of the English language, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Familiarity with the IELTS exam format and scoring criteria is a plus, but not mandatory; willingness to undergo intensive training on IELTS.
- Passion for teaching and helping individuals achieve their language proficiency goals.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit different learning styles.
- Organizational skills to effectively manage a classroom environment and track student progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in language education, is advantageous.
