The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the schedule for the ninth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup that will be held in Bangladesh in October.

Australia finds itself in Group A, pitted against India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and a team yet to qualify.

Group B features South Africa and England alongside West Indies, Bangladesh (the host nation), and another yet-to-be-decided qualifier.

Each participating team will engage in four group-stage matches during the tournament. Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the high-stakes semi-finals scheduled for October 17th and 18th, leading up to the grand finale in Dhaka on October 20th.

The tournament will span 19 days, encompassing 23 matches in Dhaka and Sylhet. Contingency plans include reserve days for the semi-finals and final matches if necessary.
