Zainab Qayoom, affectionately known as ZQ, stirred conversation during a recent appearance on a Ramazan transmission, where she dove into the topic of marriage and personal contentment. The former Pakistani model and host shared candid insights into her perspective on relationships, emphasising a reliance on faith and acceptance of fate.

In a conversation with fellow host Nadia Khan and actor Aijaz Aslam, Zainab offered a glimpse into her outlook on finding love later in life. When questioned about her thoughts on marriage, she responded with a blend of introspection and surrender to divine will. “I have left it on Allah,” she remarked, suggesting a sense of trust in a higher power to guide her romantic journey.

Zainab further elaborated on her approach to marriage, highlighting the evolution of her perspective with age. “The older you get, you’re more set in your habits,” she explained. “It’s quite difficult. It’ll probably be a miracle.” She further shared how even if she does yearn for the same, she doesn’t feel the need to make herself feel bad about something that may not be written for her. “I talk to God, I act, which I love, and I meet diverse, interesting people on sets. I’m happy.”

Addressing the topic of proposals, Zainab asked Aijaz if she gives off an “unapproachable vibe.” She added, “I think my prayer has come true. I told Allah that I am not a good judge of character, keeping in mind my past record. I said, ‘Whatever You send should reach me, otherwise, let it go here or there.’ It’s been thirteen years since my first divorce.” She trailed off, accepting that this was what was in store for her thus far. “I can’t get before time and more than what is fated,” Zainab concluded.

Her candid remarks shed light on the complexities of navigating societal expectations and personal desires, particularly in the complex world of marriage and relationships. By sharing her journey with humility and faith, she exemplified a perspective rooted in acceptance and trust in divine guidance.
