This Finance Manager Job in Dubai is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, event/project P&L management, and commercial decision support. You will play a key role in managing budgets, tracking costs, ensuring VAT compliance, and delivering financial insights to improve profitability across events and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial reporting including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Develop and oversee event/project budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes end-to-end
- Implement cost control measures and ensure proper cost allocation
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts aligned with event schedules
- Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and audit requirements
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external financial partners
- Improve financial processes, reporting templates, and efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience as Finance Manager or Accountant in events or project-based industries
- Strong expertise in event/project P&L management and reconciliation
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and financial compliance
- Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and financial modelling
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
