Shakira stuns Coachella with surprise appearance & announcement

Shakira stunned her fans by making a surprise appearance during Bizarrap’s Coachella set.

The Colombian superstar joined the DJ, 30 minutes after he started rocking his evening gig, on the first weekend of the music festival.

Her appearance comes after Variety reported that Shakira’s team had talked to Coachella organizers for a headlining slot for the singer but their request was declined.

However, she did managed to land a small gig as she appeared behind the 25-year-old rapper while wearing a fiery red-orange dress and giant aviator sunglasses on an elevated platform.

The pair performed their hits La Fuerte and BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.

Then, the music paused for a moment as she addressed the audience in Spanish and English to make a surprise announcement about her upcoming tour.

With a message that read La loba se viene (the wolf is coming) behind her, Shakira also disclosed the name of her first album since 2017.

The “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” will also include pop hits with Cardi B, Rauw Alejandro, Tiesto and more.

“Finally we’re going on tour — starting here, in November! Starting here, this November, in this city! Can’t wait!” she screamed.
