Pretty Little Liar’s Torrey DeVitto opened up about her love for knowledge and shared there’s one more person on set who shares the same passion – Troian Bellisario.
Speaking to People at Epic Cons Chicago, the 39-year-old actress weighed in on her special bond with her former co-star after branding her ‘smart’ and ‘well-read’.
She shared, “I love reading, and so I felt like we would just sit and talk about books and just talk about things.”
“I always felt like I was learning something from her every time I talked to her. So I miss that”, the former model said of the NCIS actress.
However, after recalling her bookish bond with the 38-year-old actress, DeVitto also admitted that it’s hard staying in touch with her cast mates, including her.
She confessed, “It’s so hard, especially for a lot of us. A lot of us don’t really live in LA anymore, either. I live full-time in Michigan now, so it’s hard to stay in touch.”
Despite the challenges of staying connected, she admitted that the shared love for literature remain a cherished memory for the Chicago Med actress.
It is worth mentioning here that the Huntington, New York native has been vocal about her passion for books via Instagram where she shared her reading goals for 2024 as well.
She wrote, “24 books I’m excited to re-read or read for the first time in 2024! Any other recommendations?”, alongside a picture of 24 books including Lord of The Rings by John Ronald Reuel, Everything I Never Told You by Celeste NG and Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May.
