Job Description(Enshaat Al Sayer)
1. Procurement Engineer
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in line with project requirements and organizational goals.
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities, and negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and prices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and specifications, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies to keep operations running smoothly.
- Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve purchasing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Analyze and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, and implement appropriate measures to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for project goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years procurement experience in construction company EPC and O&G.
- Must know advanced excel and experience working on SAP.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and experience working with SAP or other procurement software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and quality in purchasing activities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong ethical behavior and adherence to professional standards in procurement practices.
