About This Electrical Draughtsman Job in Dubai
This Electrical Draughtsman Job in Dubai focuses on creating accurate electrical schematics, panel layouts, and fabrication drawings using EPLAN and ELCAD software.
You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create GA drawings, layout drawings, and assembly drawings
- Develop wiring diagrams, termination drawings, and cable schedules
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects
- Ensure compliance with IEC and industry standards
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams
- Maintain drawing registers and CAD libraries
- Support manufacturing and installation teams
- Update drawings based on site feedback and revisions
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in electrical drafting
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and ELCAD
- Experience in control panels and switchgear systems
- Understanding of GD&T and fabrication processes
