We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our team. As an Electrical Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and comprehensive electrical drawings and schematics for various projects. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful execution of electrical designs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents to gather information for electrical designs.
• Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools.
• Ensure that electrical drawings comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into existing drawings to meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in electrical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues or conflicts.
• Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all electrical drawings and related documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest drafting techniques, software, and industry trends to enhance skills and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or certification in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman or similar role in electrical design and drafting.
• Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) for creating electrical drawings and schematics.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, symbols, codes, and standards.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components used in commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project requirements.
