Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor room availability and allocation to maximize revenue and ensure optimal inventory utilization.
- Distribution Channels: Manage distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings, and third-party partners.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the revenue management team, providing guidance and training on revenue optimization techniques.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and revenue management tools to make data-driven decisions.
- Rate Setting: Set pricing for various room types, packages, and promotions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on revenue performance, market trends, and competitor analysis to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with revenue management software and tools.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends in Kuwait is often preferred.
