Job Description

The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and manage communication strategies that support the Gulf Levant affiliate’s business objectives, strengthen internal and external engagement, and protect and enhance AbbVie’s reputation across the region.

As Communications Specialist, you will:

  • build relationships with external media outlets

  • manage media and social inquiries (proactive and reactive)

  • draft press releases and digital content aligned with compliance standards

  • support internal communications and employee engagement

  • manage the affiliate’s LinkedIn and social presence with compliant, on-brand messaging

  • collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver multiple projects to deadline

External communications and reputation
