A to Z Services – CAFM Helpdesk Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) Helpdesk Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and coordinating facility management activities using the CAFM system. Your primary focus will be on managing helpdesk requests, troubleshooting software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the CAFM system.
CAFM Helpdesk Coordinator (A to Z Services)
- Helpdesk Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for users seeking assistance with the CAFM system.
- Respond to helpdesk requests promptly and provide effective technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams if necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of helpdesk requests, resolutions, and user interactions.
- CAFM System Administration:
- Administer the CAFM system by creating and updating user accounts, assigning permissions, and managing access levels.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of the CAFM system with other software applications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of system updates, enhancements, and customization as required.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of facility management data within the CAFM system.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors.
- Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes for facility management.
- User Training and Documentation:
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to educate users on the functionalities of the CAFM system.
- Create user documentation, manuals, and FAQs to facilitate self-help for common user queries.
- Stay updated with the latest CAFM system features and advancements to deliver effective training and support.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the CAFM helpdesk operations.
- Propose and implement changes to streamline workflows, enhance user experience, and optimize system functionality.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in facility management and CAFM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, facility management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with CAFM systems and providing technical support to end-users.
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAFM software platforms (e.g., Archibus, FM:Systems, Planon) and related tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
