Job description

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each property, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance with principles and regulatory requirements.

Perform financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with property managers and stakeholders to develop annual budgets and forecasts for each property.

Monitor property expenses, cash flow, and revenue to ensure compliance with approved budgets.

Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an Accountant, in the real estate industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Solid understanding of property management operations and financial metrics.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

Familiarity with property management software is a plus.

Availability to work part-time hours as per the company’s requirements.
