Job Description:

Best Western Plus, a renowned international hotel chain, is seeking a skilled Purchase Representative to join our procurement team in Salmiya and Mahboula, Kuwait. The selected candidate will play a vital role in sourcing and managing vendors, ensuring quality procurement practices, and optimizing cost-effective purchasing solutions. If you have strong vendor management skills, purchasing experience, and the ability to negotiate effectively, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement records.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Work closely with different departments to understand procurement needs.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to maintain optimal inventory.
• Comply with company policies and local regulations related to procurement.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, including researching, evaluating, and liaising with suppliers.
• Bilingual applicants (English & Arabic) are preferred.
• Only candidates currently residing in Kuwait are eligible to apply.
• A valid Kuwaiti driving license is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles is an added advantage.
