Job Overview
The Nurse Supervisor will ensure quality patient care, supervise junior nursing staff, and maintain compliance with medical standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, demonstrate compassionate patient care, and have experience in hospital or clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Patient Care & Assessment:
- Conduct patient evaluations, taking samples, vitals (pulse, temperature, blood pressure), and tests.
- Plan and implement customized care plans according to physicians’ instructions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
2️⃣ Medication Administration & Compliance:
- Administer medications and treatments while following healthcare protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti healthcare regulations and safety guidelines.
3️⃣ Staff Supervision & Training:
- Oversee junior nurses and assist in organizing workload schedules.
- Train new nursing staff on best practices, compliance, and safety measures.
4️⃣ Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports for each patient.
- Communicate patient updates and concerns to physicians and healthcare professionals.
5️⃣ Patient & Family Support:
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and health concerns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science (BSc Nursing).
✅ Registered Nurse (RN) in Kuwait with a valid license.
✅ Valid Kuwait Council Certificate.
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital/clinic setting.
✅ Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
✅ Ability to handle high-pressure situations and emergencies.
✅ Excellent communication in English (Arabic preferred).
✅ Transferable Residency – Article 18 Visa.
