Position: Junior Accountant

Overview:
As a Junior Accountant at FAWSEC Educational Company, you will be responsible for assisting with financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day operations, analyze financial data, and contribute to the company’s overall financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Recording and Reporting:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely updates of financial ledgers.

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and collection from clients.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze variances and provide recommendations for improvement.

1. Audit and Compliance:

• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

1. Administrative Support:

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in Kuwait.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Other Requirements:
• Hiring is strictly for candidates currently residing in Kuwait.
