Key Responsibilities
As an ER Nurse at Garhoud Private Hospital, you will:
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on the severity of the condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
- Provide wound care and perform emergency medical interventions.
- Prepare patients for surgeries, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.
- Maintain a sterile and safe working environment in compliance with hospital standards.
- Respond to life-threatening situations using nursing standards, guidelines, and protocols.
- Assist in managing patient admissions and discharges efficiently.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during challenging times.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
- Certifications:
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ER nursing experience, with at least one year of experience in the UAE.
- Licensing: DHA Eligibility letter or valid DHA license is required.
- Additional Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities are essential.
