Joe Biden, the oldest president in the US history, has accumulated $90 million in the last month for his reelection campaign with a whopping $192 million in cash on hand, according to US media reports.
The major monetary boost was given by last week’s Manhattan fundraiser in which the 81-year-old Joe Biden amassed a record-breaking $26 million.
The campaign money in the first quarter of this year is said to be $187 million in total — the highest amount any Democrat presidential candidate has raised at this point of the election cycle, reported The Hill.
The amount was considerably high compared to what Donald Trump’s team raised last month $66 million with $93.1 million in cash on hand.

Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said: “The money we are raising is historic, and it’s going to the critical work of building a winning operation, focused solely on the voters who will decide this election — offices across the country, staff in our battleground states, and a paid media program meeting voters where they are.”
The considerable cash benefit enabled Biden to start new campaign offices in several different places with the launch of $30 million in advertising aimed at battleground states.
Highlighting the monetary crunch on the former president’s side with his continuing legal woes, Chavez said: “It’s a stark contrast to Trump’s cash-strapped operation that is funneling the limited and billionaire-reliant funds it has to pay off his various legal fees.”
Democrat fundraiser in New York last week featured former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
