Steward Job Responsibilities
As a Steward, your responsibilities include:
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines safely
- Load and unload dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
- Handle cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures
- Keep stewarding and kitchen areas clean and organized
- Polish and maintain silverware using burnishing machines
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Report accidents and safety concerns immediately
- Support hotel operations during emergency situations
- Complete additional duties assigned by management
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 2 years of stewarding experience in a five-star hotel
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of hotel hygiene and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
