Associate NDT Tech Job Overview
The Associate NDT Tech is an entry-level position designed for individuals beginning their careers in Non-Destructive Testing. Working under close supervision, you will perform inspections using approved NDT methods, identify weld defects, prepare inspection reports, and support quality assurance activities while following established operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate NDT Tech, your responsibilities include:
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on welds and materials.
- Conduct inspections using approved methods such as RT, UT, PT, and MT.
- Identify conforming and non-conforming weld defects.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports.
- Follow project NDT plans, procedures, and contractual specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) inspectors regarding repair completion.
- Support inspection activities under senior technician supervision.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspection activities.
- Assist with equipment calibration and inspection readiness.
Required Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Associate NDT Tech position should have:
- High School Diploma or a relevant technical qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience as an NDT Technician.
- ASNT, PCN, or CSWIP Level II certification.
- Basic knowledge of Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform and record daily calibration of NDT equipment.
