The Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job in Saudi Arabia involves attending breakdowns, performing diagnostics, conducting preventive maintenance (PPM), and repairing powered access and plant machinery equipment.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work both in the depot workshop and at client sites, ensuring machines are maintained to manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.

Planned Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) activities on fleet equipment
- Maintain equipment appearance to corporate standards
- Ensure proper disposal of waste in line with company policies
Repair & Diagnostics
- Diagnose and repair powered access and plant machinery
- Conduct diesel engine fault finding and troubleshooting
- Follow R4 machine status procedures (PHI, Repair, PDI, Available)
- Interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
Health, Safety & Quality
- Follow Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and risk assessments
- Report health & safety non-compliance issues
- Participate in safety training programs
- Maintain highest HSE standards at all times
Administration & Reporting
- Complete digital service reports using company smart systems
- Process warranty claims and documentation accurately
- Support depot workshop operations
- Maintain service records of workshop equipment
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements – Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job in Saudi Arabia
Essential
- High school education or vocational qualification
- Experience with mobile access or plant machinery such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, excavators, forklifts, telehandlers, rollers, generators, and dumpers
- Strong diesel engine diagnostics and repair experience
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
Desirable
- IPAF demonstrator license
- Experience within GCC region
