This Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist position is tailored for a surgeon-clinician who excels in complex pediatric diagnostics and surgical management. You will lead clinical sessions, theatre lists, and multidisciplinary case conferences, ensuring seamless pathways from screening to intervention to follow-up. You’ll establish protocols for systemic and ocular immunosuppression, coordinate steroid-sparing regimens, and drive collaborative pathways with rheumatology and internal medicine for children and young adults with complex inflammatory disease.


Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Pediatric Care: Diagnose and manage pediatric eye conditions across amblyopia, refractive error, congenital and developmental disorders.

  • Strabismus & Pediatric Surgery: Plan and perform surgeries for strabismus, pediatric cataracts, congenital glaucoma, and complex anterior segment procedures.

  • ROP Program: Conduct ROP screening and treatment, liaising with NICUs; maintain audit-ready documentation and outcomes tracking.
